Katie joined Wheeler in 2010 as a Staff Accountant. In January 2015, she became a Manager at the firm.
Originally from New Hampshire, Katie graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Management. While attending Northeastern, she completed almost two years of cooperative education in the financial industry and at a firm specializing in wealth management for high net worth individuals. Shortly after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, she began her career in public accounting at a small CPA firm in San Mateo, CA. It was there she began working directly with clients on tax issues, bookkeeping and attest work.
Katie especially enjoys meeting with clients and helping them navigate various compliance issues. In addition to assisting small businesses and individuals with their annual tax returns, she enjoys helping her small business clients with payroll, sales tax, state and local tax issues, IT consulting and helping them in myriad ways to operate their business more efficiently. She also enjoys working with clients in the field to complete attest work.
A member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Katie is a licensed CPA in California. She relocated back home to New England in 2015 and currently resides and works for Wheeler from Carlisle, Massachusetts where she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
